Curriculum Writer, ELA

A company is looking for a Curriculum Writer, ELA (Newcomer) - Contract.

Key Responsibilities :

Craft lessons providing age-appropriate instruction for newcomer students, focusing on oral language and basic reading skills

Develop teacher guidance to facilitate effective instruction and support students' prior knowledge and home language

Collaborate with content teams to produce high-quality lessons and maintain consistency of voice and program style

Required Qualifications :

2+ years of education-related experience, particularly with multilingual / English learners; bachelor's degree in English, Humanities, or related field

Experience creating engaging lessons / curricula in a collaborative environment

Demonstrated writing skills and ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects

Strong analytic reading and thinking skills

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
