Direct manage and evaluate inpatient and ambulatory cancer and blood disorders services in a manner that meets safe patient care continuous quality improvement customer service programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Childrens Hospital. Provide leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives for services including operations patient flow facilities capital and operating budgets and staffing. Direct and manage contracted services to meet patient and organization needs. Develop implement and manage strategic plan to respond to anticipated trends changes in treatment economics or patient needs. Develop and sustain interdisciplinary relationships committees and manage special projects that contribute to program development.

Required Education and Experience
A Masters degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; may be substituted with a Masters in Business Administration Public Health Healthcare Administration or a related field provided the candidate also possesses a Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing (Candidates currently enrolled in a Masters program or higher will be considered provided they also possess a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Must complete the program within three years in position and maintain solid performance)Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in a healthcare (3) to five (5) years experience overseeing / participating in program development and / or strategic planning.
Required Credentials
Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.A copy of a Masters degree or higher in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of a Masters degree or higher in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN LicenseIf a Masters degree is in Business Administration Public Health Healthcare Administration or a related field a copy of the degrees or transcripts indicating attainment of a Masters degree or higher and Bachelors in Nursing degree is to be on record with Human Resources upon a Masters degree or higher is in process a copy of the Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of a Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing and a notation of the expected Masters completion date is to be on file with Human Resources upon or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This is a condition of hire and must be maintained at all times. Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. (Note : Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position). ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.
Preferred
Minimum of five (5) years progressive management and / or director level experience in an acute care and / or ambulatory care in an academic setting.
Compensation Range
$180884.00 - $271326.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
