Irvine, CA law firm is seeking an experienced full-time Civil Litigator

A reputable and growing civil litigation firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with 3-10 years of experience and a strong background in civil defense or insurance defense. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to advance their litigation career in a collaborative and supportive environment that values both professional excellence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling personal injury and premises liability matters and will be comfortable managing cases from intake through resolution.

Qualifications

Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

5-7 years of civil or insurance defense litigation experience (3+ years encouraged to apply)

Open to all areas of litigation but have a preference for : business litigation, trust litigation, general civil litigation and premises liability

Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of civil litigation matters from pre-trial through resolution with minimal supervision.

Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda demonstrating strong analytical and persuasive writing skills.

Provide clients and insurance representatives with timely case assessments and strategic recommendations.

Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

Prepare for trial, including strategy development, witness preparation, and exhibit organization.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members to ensure efficient case management.

Position : On-site

Billable Hours : 1,600 annually

Salary : 140-180k
