    • The Compassionate Care Veterinary Clinic opened in January 2008 in order to provide an urgent medical care facility for the north-east section of Rhode Island and south-west Massachusetts. Located in Providence's suburb, Cumberland, with numerous parks and trails and easy access to both Boston and Providence.

    • Here at Compassionate Care veterinary Clinic, it is our mission to provide progressive medicine in a family practice atmosphere. While our clinic started as urgent care, we have expanded to a full-service hospital where we offer yearly checkups and vaccines. We also perform a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries on-site. Our state-of the art facility houses digital and dental radiology, digital cytology, ultrasound, Idexx in house lab equipment, ECG, blood pressure monitors and a tonopen on site. Our team consists of passionate veterinary professionals who are highly motivated, compassionate, and thrive in a team work environment.     • What You'll Be Working On
    • Build and maintain client relationships
    • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
    • Perform small animal surgeries with opportunities for mentorship if desired
    • Maintain a positive and supportive work environment
    • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
    • Qualifications
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
    • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Rhode Island
    • Interest in soft tissue surgery preferred
    • Interest in small mammal care preferred
    • Surgical and dental experience preferred
    • Flexible with schedule - no weekends
    • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
    • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
    • Strong communication skills
    • Positive team player who motivates staff with encouragement
    • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
