About SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital :

SSM Health-Saint Louis University Hospital, in collaboration with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to join our expanding transplant program. This full-time academic position includes a faculty appointment at Saint Louis University, with rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level.

Position Overview :

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of transplant nephrologists, surgeons, coordinators, and administrative staff, contributing to all aspects of kidney transplant care and program development, including :

• Pre-transplant care : Evaluation of transplant candidates
• Post-transplant management : Oversight of immunosuppression, complications, and co-morbidities in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Program development and outreach : Strategic growth and community engagement
• Academic responsibilities : Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
• Research contributions : Participation in clinical, population-based, or basic science research
