Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Qualifications :

• Instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting experience (flow meters, pressure probes, temp probes, level probes, transmitters) required
• Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and light programming experience
• Able to read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
• Lock out tag out
• Troubleshooting electrical motors and generators
• Troubleshooting camera systems, electronic sensors and similar electronic equipment
• Associate's degree in Instrumentation Technology or equivalent experience
• Experience troubleshooting & calibrating control systems
• Set up instrumentation & calibrate using meters & tools
• Preventative & corrective maintenance
• Instrumentation installation background
• Experience with install and maintenance projects in the automation of industrial processes
• Testing functions
• Experience working with PLC's, HMI's systems including Rockwell / Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Schneider Electric and / or Modicon
• Troubleshoot I / O's
• Power Generation, Oil & Gas (Midstream preferred), Water / Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Cogen Plants, Combined Cooling Heat and Power, Data Centers, Packaging & Process Controls experience
• CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus
