We are looking for a highly motivated Oiler and Fueler to add to our Shop team!
Responsibilities :
- Support direct supervisor and adhere to direction.
- Communicate with supervisor and job site foreman to maintain high efficiency of fueling operations.
- Travel to job sites and complete fuel, oil, and greasing operations on equipment and vehicles.
- Complete daily DOT required information, truck inspections, and timecard.
- Travel to various locations around the front range in fuel truck provided by HEI Civil
- Work during hours directed by HEI Civil to keep our fleet running daily.
- Work independently or with fellow employees, contractors, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.Works well independently and has a passion to learn.Good organization skills and follow through.Alert, focused, and detail oriented.Disciplined, dependable, accountable, and punctual.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Basic understanding of safe work practices.Basic understanding of Caterpillar and construction equipment, principles, and procedures.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED preferred.Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License.Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (Fueler required).Experience driving on and off-road commercial vehicles on construction sites a plus.Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions :
Work is performed most frequently outdoors in weather conditions that vary from freezing temperatures to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions.Work may be performed in confined spaces.Some exposure to odors, gases, dust and dirt may occur.The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.Lifting and carrying 10 up to 60 pounds frequently is required.Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.Reaching and lifting overhead is frequent.Standing, crawling, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and reaching a majority of the time.Work may include manual labor up to and including hand digging.Some Saturday work is required. Sundays are rarely needed.Salary : Based on experience
