Job Description : Lock Desk Technician

Position Summary :
The lock desk technician is responsible for assisting the lock desk team in managing the locked pipeline and its associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Mastery all software pertinent to job description (Byte LOS, Optimal Blue, MS Excel)
- Process all new locks and manage locked pipeline
- Assist with the pricing and selling of locked loans
- Work closely with loan officers, processors, underwriters and other team members to ensure timely processing and locking of loans
- Communicate with investors and loan officers to resolve issues related to pricing and locking of loans
- Maintain and update pricing and lock policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to loan officers and other staff members on lock desk operations
- Maintain accurate records of all pricing and lock transactions

Experience in the mortgage industry and Secondary Marketing preferredAbility to pass a background check
