Responsibilities

  • Under close supervision, provide technical support to engineering teams by performing tasks requiring a basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Utilize digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
  • Evaluate methods used in development of deliverables and design activities to support continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Continually develop knowledge of BV Quality Program to ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant.
  • Assist with minor computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
  • Coordinate deliverables with other groups on the project to minimize interference or errors.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
  • Typically a minimum of 1 year related work experience.
