Lang Recruiting has an exciting opportunity for a DeltaV Engineer to join a growing automation team supporting the Life Sciences industry. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic system integration environments and want to make a direct impact on projects that advance global healthcare.

As a DeltaV Engineer, you’ll design, configure, and implement advanced Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant automation while also mentoring junior engineers and growing your own expertise.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and configure Emerson DeltaV control systems and batch processes (ISA-88 standards).
  • Develop system architecture, specifications, and control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Configure controllers, HMI, and historian solutions with compliance to GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Lead FAT / SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of automation / control system engineering, with strong DeltaV experience.
  • Proficiency in ISA-88 Batch Processing and DeltaV Batch configuration.
  • Familiarity with automation protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP, OPC).
  • Life Sciences experience preferred, but strong DeltaV backgrounds from other industries will be considered.
  • Knowledge of GAMP5, cGMP, and validation processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client support and commissioning.
