Computer Hardware & Cabling Technician - Data Center

Our client, a leading global technology and data infrastructure company, is seeking a Hardware & Cabling Technician – Data Center to join their team.

As a Hardware & Cabling Technician , you will be part of the Data Center Operations Department supporting the Infrastructure Deployment and Hardware Maintenance teams .

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail , technical troubleshooting skills , and a commitment to safety and precision , which will align successfully within the organization.

Location : Quincy, WA 98848

Pay Range : $22 / hr – $26 / hr

What’s the Job?

Install, stage, and set up servers, racks, and switches according to deployment and safety standards.

Manage structured cabling — including labeling, routing, and verifying connections for accuracy and performance.

Perform system startups, shutdowns, and post-installation quality checks.

Troubleshoot and replace faulty hardware components to maintain uptime.

Decommission or refresh equipment as part of scheduled upgrades and maintenance.

What’s Needed?

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

1+ year of hands-on experience supporting IT hardware or cabling systems.

Basic understanding of servers, networking equipment, and infrastructure layout.

Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed procedures.

Flexibility to work day shifts, weekends, and non-standard business hours as needed.
