• Experience in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Knowledge of quick response and code teams
• Proficient in peripheral line care and management
• Competence in oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Understanding of isolation precautions and blood product administration
• Experience in wound care and wound vac management

Description :

This is a 26-week travel nurse position within a medical-surgical / telemetry unit.

The position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

The job includes potential floating between units, based on patient care needs.

Travelers may be asked to work on weekends and are required to commit to three of five major holidays.

Nursing staff will manage a variety of patient conditions, including orthopedic trauma care and post-operative management.

Expected patient ratio is 1 : 6.

The facility features a total of 379 staffed beds and operates as a Level II trauma center.

Nursing attire consists of solid navy blue colored uniforms.

Staff will have access to interdisciplinary support services and equipment necessary for patient care.

Travelers may be required to float between facilities that are part of the healthcare system.

Refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment.
