Senior Electrical Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager who provides high-level oversight and leadership for multiple electrical projects, focusing on coaching and developing Project Managers (PMs). This role is responsible for project execution, financial management, labor tracking, and reporting progress to executive leadership. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 2+ Project Managers, guiding project execution, labor tracking, and financial controls, leading by example in safety, integrity, and customer relations, overseeing multiple electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met, developing and adjusting work sequences, making decisions on equipment, materials, and subcontractors, tracking labor productivity and analyzing variances, monitoring OCTS controls (Operational, Cost, Time, Safety), reporting progress, cost-to-complete, and estimates to management, presenting and explaining financials to executives, applying electrical systems knowledge (not hands-on), reviewing and approving submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring safety and company standards compliance, building relationships with clients, contractors, and teams, clearly explaining project status and solutions, representing the company in meetings, preparing and delivering PMO reports, and using Procore, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for documentation.

Skills and Requirements :

• 810 years of electrical project management experience, with at least 24 years in a senior PM role.
• Proven experience coaching and leading multiple PMs.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, data center, and medical electrical projects.
• Proficiency in Procore, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated ability to track labor, manage schedules, and report financials.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to explain technical and financial aspects to both customers and executives.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
