Job descriptionMust have a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or an equivalent discipline. Prior law firm experience is required. Admitted to practice before the USPTO. Must have a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or an equivalent discipline. An advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D.) is a plus. Prior experience in drafting patents is a plus.
Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a patent agent or technical specialist to join their Software and Electrical Engineering Team.
Schedule - Hybrid 3 / 2
Responsibilities :
- Patent preparation and prosecution.
- Foreign portfolio management.
- Patent licensing.
- Conducting due diligence in IP transactions toward rendering opinions to clients.
- Working closely with clients, inventors, and firm attorneys.
