Position Type : Regular Your opportunity As a Sr. Full Stack Developer within Client Service & Support (CS&S), you will have the opportunity to develop internal web tools and automation solutions that directly enhance the client service experience for Schwabs retail clients. By leveraging technology to streamline service processes, you will play a crucial part in enhancing client satisfaction, improving retention, and supporting the core business of CS&S. This position is on-site 4 days per week. What youll do : Architect and maintain high-performance front-end applications using the React framework, while integrating seamlessly with scalable back-end services; ensure code quality through peer reviews and mentorship. Lead automation and efficiency initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort across development and operational processes. Own and enhance internal platforms, including intranet sites, support tools, and monitoring systemsleveraging React to build intuitive, responsive user interfaces that anticipate and prevent client issues. Drive strategic innovation, proactively identifying business opportunities and challenging legacy processes through modern React-based solutions and cross-functional collaboration. Serve as a technical lead on enterprise-wide initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments and mentoring junior developers in React best practices and component architecture. What you have 5 years of professional level experience with React / Typescript. 5 years of professional level experience with C# / .NET Core development. Proficient in DevOps practices, with deep familiarity in tools such as BitBucket, Veracode, Bamboo, and GitHub Advanced SQL expertise, including writing and optimizing complex queries, managing relational database performance, and ensuring data integrity; regularly supports team members in troubleshooting and query optimization. Architect and maintain RESTful API web services. Strong understanding of modern authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT Preferred Skills : BA / BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated leadership in technical mentoring, fostering growth through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions; actively contributes to team development and onboarding of new engineers.
