We're looking for a Training And Development Program Manager that is focused on developing and implementing statewide training initiatives for law enforcement personnel. This role involves supervising data collection, operating advanced training equipment like a de-escalation virtual simulator, and certifying staff to enhance training effectiveness. The candidate will also prepare courses, introduce innovative technologies, and contribute to producing disciplined and competent law enforcement professionals.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies :

Training And Development Expertise : Ability to design and implement effective training programs tailored to law enforcement personnel.

Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities to guide training teams and foster collaboration.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and delivering training materials effectively.

Analytical Skills : Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to inform training strategies and enhance program effectiveness.

Minimum qualifications include :

Six years of experience in planning, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs or academic instruction; human resources, or social services; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of experience in planning, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs or academic instruction; human resources, or social services; OR

A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in planning, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs or academic instruction; human resources, or social services; OR

An advanced degree in education, instructional design, business or public administration, industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behavior or human resources plus two years of experience in planning, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs or academic instruction; human resources, or social services.

Career Progression : This position is not Career Progression Group eligible.

Work Schedule : Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Compensation : The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
