Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a vibrant K-12 school community in Wilson, NY. This contract role runs from August 19th through the end of the school year, serving primarily the Middle School grades 6-8. The psychologist will conduct approximately 75-80 evaluations annually, supporting 750 students in making informed educational and developmental decisions.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborating with educators and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consulting with teachers, parents, and staff to address student learning and behavioral issues
  • Participating in district meetings, which may occasionally require additional hours beyond the typical Monday-Friday schedule
  • Providing counseling and support services to students as needed

Qualifications and experience :

  • Valid School Psychologist certification / licensure in New York State
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a middle school setting
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
