Nocturnist Physician

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 am)
• Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents / interns in the team. Average admissions 17 / night for the whole team.
• Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!

• Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.

Dignity Health Medical Group is actively seeking a highly patient-centric physician to serve as a Nocturnist Hospitalist at our St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

Pay Range

$130.01 - $172.55 / hour
