Like Eurofins as a whole, the Consumer Product Testing group is growing fast. The organization managing Softlines, Toys and Hardlines retailers is now even stronger after multiple recent acquisitions, is expanding, and looking for business development professionals to continue the journey to make Eurofins a global leader in these customer segments. We are seeking a highly motivated and gifted Business Development Program Manager (BD PM) to join our commercial team, focusing primarily on the Softlines sector within the global Consumer Product Testing supply chain industry. This role is crucial for our growth, requiring a unique blend of relationship management, strategic insight, and operational coordination. The BD PM will be an integral part of a high-performing commercial team, leveraging diverse talents to drive success.
Business Development Program Manager - Softlines include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Relationship Initiation and Nurturing : Initiate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in prospective and new client organizations, primarily based in the USA.Act as the primary representative for our global lab network, ensuring clients receive seamless support and a unified experience.Work closely with the VP of Business Development to ensure exceptional client support and alignment on strategic accounts.
- Business Growth and Opportunity Identification : Identify business needs and opportunities within the Softlines supply chain that align with our service offerings.Develop and execute strategies to generate new revenue and accelerate growth within new accounts.Maintain a deep understanding of client business challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Internal Coordination and Program Management : Coordinate internal resources (e.g., technical teams, quality assurance, operations) to support business development efforts and service delivery.Ensure all programs and client solutions adhere to necessary compliance and quality assurance standards within a global supply chain context.Drive the execution of commercial programs from initial concept to successful implementation and sustained performance.
- Become very familiar with Eurofins offering, laboratory network, organization and tools.
- Assist VP of Business Development with leads provided to create opportunities.
- Identify potential customers based on research and previous experience and initiate contact.
- Ability to cold call customers to generate softlines leads.
- Work with marketing, technical domestic and overseas leadership for program implementation and ongoing client program SOP’s.
- Regularly use company CRM to record activities.
- Participate virtually and in person with client meetings and Financial Business reviews
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Education Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Sales & Marketing / Textile Engineering or equivalent degrees preferredBasic Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, account management, or TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) program management.Understanding of the TIC industry and / or of target segment industries (Softlines, Toys & Hardlines) preferred.Proven experience in business development or account management, ideally within the Softlines industry (apparel, footwear, textiles, accessories).Demonstrated understanding of the complexities, challenges, compliance, and quality assurance requirements inherent in a global supply chain environment.Understanding of Quality and Compliance in target industries.Travel : Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and represent the global lab network.Working Hours : Flexible hours for international business continuity. Flexibility in working hours, as needed.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.The Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following :

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Depending on customer needs, up to 15% travel might be necessary.
