Job Description :

• The option of either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts is approved by the unit manager.
• Start date : ASAP
• The shift is 5x8 hours, with a 4x10 hour option potentially available upon request.
• First-timers are accepted.
• Weekend work is required every other weekend.
• Floating is required within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
• No specific restrictions on requested time off, but prefer to keep it under seven days.
• Experience in units such as ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, and Adult Medical is necessary.
• Familiarity with charting systems like EPIC is required.
• Knowledge of Milliman Guidelines or InterQual Criteria is a plus.
• The average daily census is approximately 30 patients.
• All travelers are expected to be flexible and willing to float between various like units, within their skill set.
• Completion of modules is required pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent on non-billable modules.
