Chief of Psychiatry Key Responsibilities (Supervisory position) :

• Typical shift M-F, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm; Night, Weekend, Holiday call by rotation
• Some travel required to our Community Based Outpatient Clinics
• Evaluate and manage patients admitted to mental health inpatient service, and outpatient clinics including performing history and physical examinations.
• Provide coverage to evaluate and manage mental health veterans in the local area Emergency Department, and consultation liaison service as needed.
• Write prescriptions including controlled medications, order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic
• Provides patient education of medical / mental health conditions, preventive measures and prescribed treatments.
• Relocation / recruitment incentives may be approved for highly qualified candidates

$275000.00 / Annually - $350000.00 / Annually
