General Purpose :

Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Essential Job Functions

This company expects their employees to promote an atmosphere of teamwork with other employees and hospitality and comfort for its residents. Therefore, the following list of duties is not all-inclusive :

Prepare and submit financial reports on a timely basis as required and directed by Director of Finance, this company and governmental agencies.

Accumulate and maintain, in an organized manner, pertinent documentation relating to and support all entries on the financial statements.

Prepare and submit various state and governmental reports as required

Ensure timely and accurate information for cost reporting, tax and audits

Facilitate support of internal audits

Assist and support external audits

Provide statistics to audit and reimbursement for year end processing.

Prepare and support all balance sheet accounts.

Performs audits of facilities as required

Other Duties

Be familiar with GAAP

Others as directed by the supervisor or Director of Finance.

Minimum Qualifications

Accounting Degree with experience in health care preferred

Organized and detailed in work performance.

Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.

Proficient at MS Excel and General Ledger accounting software

Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.

Comply with the Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.

Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.

Perform Essential Duties as outlined above.
