Role Overview

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Security Analyst in San Diego, CA to support PlayStation Studios within the North American region on their network connectivity for builds, ensuring secure data transmission across various environments. The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in information security conducting security risk assessments for applications, IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and third‑party vendors; identifying vulnerabilities, documenting risks, and providing actionable recommendations to guide mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include developing and delivering risk reports, supporting acquisition integration by identifying and addressing security risks associated with merging IT infrastructures, aligning them with organizational security policies, leveraging industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT to design and implement controls, developing and overseeing remediation strategies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA, and SOX, and utilizing advanced security and data analytics tools (Domo, Qualys, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Tanium) to perform holistic risk analyses, create dashboards, and streamline compliance tracking across diverse teams and systems. Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in information security, including risk assessments for applications, IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and third‑party vendors.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities, documenting risks, and providing actionable recommendations for mitigation.
• Ability to develop and deliver risk reports and support acquisition integration by addressing security risks associated with merging IT infrastructures.
• Proficiency in leveraging industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) to design and implement security controls.
• Experience overseeing remediation strategies and ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Skilled in using advanced security and data analytics tools, including Domo, Qualys, Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Tanium, to perform risk analyses, create dashboards, and streamline compliance tracking.

Salary

$192,269.00 – $251,300.00 per year
