The Role : Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will report to the Accounting Manager. This position works closely with foreign business partners functional partners and will have exposure to EXSIFs CFO and parent company. The position is responsible for ensuring all management and parent company financial reporting is prepared accurately and timely and in compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Hybrid position one day(Tuesdays) in the Chicago office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities including preparation of journal entries reconciliations and monthly financial analysis.
• Accounting for foreign branch offices and communications with local staff at branch offices.
• Review reporting schedules prepared by domestic and foreign business partners for accuracy.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly Product and Segment Reports.
• Assist with recurring parent company deliverables such as monthly / quarterly financial and tax reporting.
• Preparation of SG&A and operational accruals and management reporting materials
• Interpret analyze and communicate financial information such as variance analysis clearly and concisely.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and are effective.
• Evaluate accounting processes controls and reporting for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support internal and external audits.

Pay Range : $103500-$126500
