Job Title : Cashier

Reports to : GM

Summary : Answers Phones in a professional manner that contributes to the smooth, efficient operation of the restaurant and keeps the area around the cash register as clean and orderly as possible by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Take customer orders over the phone.
• Receive payments and present change to customers.
• Pack food items ensuring that every order is complete.
• Function as the host / hostess of the restaurant when needed.
• Make reservations for customers.
• Receive food checks from waiters or customers.
• Appeal to impatient or irritated customers, especially during rush hours
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
