  • Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina nursing jobs)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel RN\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital\n
  • Start Date : December 15, 2025\n
  • End Date : March 16, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • RN Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts per week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)\n
  • Hours per week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Holiday Rotation : Required\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks\n
  • Charting System : EPIC\n
  • Scrub Color : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1420 - $1530\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience\n
  • Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact RN License (must be active prior to start)\n
  • BLS certification required\n
  • Proficiency in isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, IV insertion and maintenance, and rapid response / code team procedures\n
  • Ability to float between medical surgical units as assigned\n
  • Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation\n
  • First-time travel nurses accepted\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients across multiple med / surg units\n
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver oxygen therapy as needed\n
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly, utilizing rapid response / code teams when necessary\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health record system\n
  • Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols\n
  • Complete orientation and required modules prior to start\n
  • Support emergency response efforts during hurricane season as needed\n
