Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation Hospital - PRN Position

Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a rehabilitation hospital setting on a PRN basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating a strong understanding of diverse clinical situations. You will provide both routine and complex care, set long-term goals for patient recovery, and effectively manage clinical contingencies.

Responsibilities :

• Adhere to OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Deliver nursing care consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, applying the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Evaluate patient learning needs and offer education for patients, family members, and caregivers while identifying relevant issues and resources.
