As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout a government location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail help create a secure environment for those on site. You will interact with visitors and staff, delivering exceptional customer service and strong communication. Pay Rate : $18.60 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat09 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PMSun09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as directed.
  • Maintain a visible presence and help to deter unauthorized activities by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding property.
  • Respond calmly and with a problem-solving mindset to incidents and critical situations that may arise.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide guidance as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks within the government location and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
