Embrace the opportunity to grow with us and help maintain the standard of luxury that Encore is known for.Your RoleAs a Diesel Technician III, youre one of the most trusted and capable techs in the shop. Youll take full ownership of diagnostics and repairs across our luxury motorcoach fleet, including diesel engines, drivetrain, HVAC, electrical, suspension, and braking systems.This role is more than technical. Youre the person others rely on when things get complicated or time gets tight. Youre not in a formal lead role, but your experience and judgment make you a natural mentor to Techs I and II. You set the bar for quality, safety, and performance.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair diesel engines, 12V / 24V electrical systems, HVAC, drivetrain, and suspension componentsUse advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot voltage drops, emissions faults, and full coach performance issuesResolve brake system failures including low air pressure, slack adjuster issues, and braking imbalancesTroubleshoot drivetrain vibration, torque loss, or abnormal noise with precisionDiagnose and repair generator systems and manage load distribution across coach power systemsPerform tire inspections and alignment evaluations to correct wear and handling issuesSupport Tech I and II team members through guidance and hands-on problem solvingCommunicate clearly with leadership and document all repair work with detailed notes and recommendationsMinimum RequirementsTypically requires 5+ years of diesel repair experience - but candidates with fewer years will be considered if they can demonstrate the ability to perform all responsibilities at this levelProven experience working with Volvo diesel enginesExperience working on Prevost luxury motorcoachesStrong diagnostic skills across multiple systems including electrical, drivetrain, HVAC, and air brakesProficient with pneumatic diagrams, wiring schematics, and diagnostic softwareNice to HaveFamiliarity with HVAC zone controls, fire suppression systems, ABS sensors, and generator troubleshootingInterest in mentoring junior techs or growing into a Diesel Tech IV roleCompensation details : 38-45 Hourly WagePI8e1606369f6d-29952-38871901 #True
