Accounting Manager – Hybrid
Are you an experienced Accounting Manager who is ready to take ownership of financial operations and employee support functions in a growing, 40 person, multi-state organization? We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our corporate office team at Industrial Equipment Company .

As the Accounting Manager , you’ll oversee financial health and reconciliations, payroll, employee lifecycle and financial processes, benefits administration and compliance and regulatory reporting.
You’ll lead a team of four (AP, AR, Invoicing, and Reception) and you will be responsible for :
Financial Leadership
Managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reportingPreparing monthly financial packages and annual reports for CPA filingsOverseeing payroll (via Paycom), commissions, and bonus processingEnsuring compliance with state, federal, and regulatory reporting requirementsHR & Benefits Administration
Processing payroll accurately and on time, including employee record updatesSupporting onboarding, terminations, PTO accruals, and compliance with labor lawsManaging annual benefits enrollment and renewals (health, 401k, Life, AD&D, LTD, STD, COBRA)Providing responsive support to employees for payroll and benefits inquiriesAssisting managers with progressive discipline and compliance mattersStrategic & Team Leadership
Partnering with the CEO and management team on financial and operational initiativesLeading and developing your accounting / support team across multiple locationsDriving operational efficiency and cross-department collaborationWhat We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)5+ years of Accounting Management experience in $20M+ annual revenue companiesProven leadership experience managing accounting and HR / payroll functionsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience overseeing P&L and driving operational efficiencyYour Skills & Strengths
Confident decision-maker with strong business acumenSkilled in payroll, benefits, compliance, and multi-state HR practicesExcellent communicator with ability to support cross-functional teamsEntrepreneurial mindset with high energy and driveCompensation & Benefits
