Warehouse Team Member

Vista Defense Technologies, LLC, (VDT) is searching for a Warehouse Team Member to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.

The Ideal Candidate will provide on-site equipment and warehousing support during the hours commencing 0700 through 1600, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. There may be instances where support may be required outside normal operating times. The Candidate will perform equipment management support of all MID equipment from acquisition to disposition.

1. Receive and inspect all new items and verify against contracts, purchase orders, and/or Government specifications.
2. Disassemble equipment, as needed, for examinations/inspections, assignment of receiving classifications, and compare contract documents and bills of lading against materials received to validate that the Materials Management Department (MMD) Government POC inputted the information correctly.
3. Use reference manuals, remote computer terminals, bar code identifiers, stock lists, equipment specifications and drawings/printouts, and catalogs to verify accuracy of type, quantity, and quality of material or equipment being processed by the MMD.
4. Verify customer data and supply a service call ticket number back to the customer. Within NHJ Trouble Ticket System, document the call and request for assistance utilizing the appropriate fields and SOPs/how-to-guides provided.
5. Verify compliance with Information Security and HIPAA Security rules during the deployment and disposal of IT related equipment. Ensures that no hard drives are included with disposed equipment.
6. Evaluates established methods and procedures for warehousing and distribution of equipment and prepares recommendations for changes to methods and practices where appropriate and presents them to the COR for approval.
7. Collaborates with MID's Supply Point of Contact (POC) and necessary stakeholders, ensuring that all IT projects include the removal of existing equipment, room preparation, new equipment installation, and warranty-maintenance is documented.
8. Coordinates receipt and identification of information technology equipment.
9. Coordinates excess equipment reuse program and ensures appropriate inventory adjustments.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Tier 1 security clearance.
• Forklift certified a plus, but not necessary.
