Estimators are responsible for scheduling appointments, sketching areas of home where Mitigation work was completed, creating estimates using Xactimate, and negotiating with insurance representatives.

Creating estimates and negotiating with insurance representatives will require you to follow the IICRC guidelines, as well as guidelines and policies set by HRG. You will also be responsible for updating spreadsheets and Company Cam daily with any / all information you receive for all projects assigned to you.

Successful Estimators are organized and detail-oriented, “hands-on”, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately estimate job cost using appropriate estimating software, such as Xactimate.
  • Create drying logs using readings captured by Mitigation technicians.
  • Negotiate with insurance representatives to reach a reasonable price for the work HRG performed.
  • Continue to learn about Xactimate and maximize HRG estimates for legitimate services performed.
  • Schedule all appointments, sketch job sites, and submit estimates within timeline set by HRG.
  • Update spreadsheets and Company Cam daily with any / all updates you have for projects assigned to you.
  • Assisting the Accounting team with issues on claims as they arise
  • Assist company teams, as needed, such as collecting checks, check endorsements etc.
