This role has a minimum base pay from $15.24 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Purpose : Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with customers. Responsibilities include meeting with customers, listening to project needs, educating them on project requirements, and creating a design that incorporates their personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements :

• Minimum of one (1) year of interior design or retail / sales experience
• Design degree is a plus
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Internal candidates need 12 months of experience as a design consultant

Essential Functions :

Working Conditions : Limited travel, exposure to warehouse environment, moderate to noisy noise levels.

Physical Requirements : Ability to exert 20-50 pounds, handle objects, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Store Hours : Mon-Fri 7AM-8PM, Sat 8AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM.
