About the Role
We are hiring a high-performing Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Biller with extensive, hands-on expertise in CollaborateMD and KIPU. This is a revenue-impact position for someone who understands clean claim strategy, authorization alignment, denial prevention, and aggressive AR management.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently bill multiple facilities for Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder claims to commercial, Medicare, and managed care payers
- Aggressively manage aging reports and reduce AR days
- Identify denial patterns and implement corrective action plans
- Ensure billing aligns with authorizations and level of care
Required Expertise: CollaborateMD
- Advanced claim scrubbing and error resolution
- Custom report generation and AR tracking
Required Expertise: KIPU
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation flow
- Ensure documentation supports medical necessity
- Cross-reference KIPU data with billing system accuracy
Qualifications
- 2+ years behavioral health billing experience (substance use & mental health required)
- Extensive working knowledge of CollaborateMD and KIPU
- Proven ability to reduce AR days and improve clean claim rate
- Strong payer follow-up and denial management skills
- High attention to detail and accountability for outcomes
- Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
