A company is looking for a Surgical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant coding of physician services

Review chart documentation to extract appropriate procedural, E / M, and ICD-10 codes

Interact with providers to enhance engagement and provide feedback and education

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalency certificate

2-3 years of previous healthcare coding experience required

AAPC or AHIMA coding certification preferred

Knowledgeable about third-party billing regulations and CPT / ICD coding

Proficient computer and data entry skills
