Position Overview :

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Program Services Estimator to support upcoming infrastructure projects, including utility line work and potential sewage treatment plant construction in Ascension Parish . The Estimator will work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to provide accurate, data-driven estimates and support all phases of preconstruction. This position is ideal for someone with experience in utility infrastructure and sewage treatment plant work , and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates across all project stages, from conceptual to final construction documents.

Lead and support preconstruction efforts, including schedule development, cash flow analysis, permitting coordination, and procurement strategy.

Evaluate project plans, technical documents, and site conditions to generate accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.

Collaborate with owners, engineers, and architects to ensure cost alignment with project goals and constraints.

Conduct site visits and field assessments as necessary.

Review contractor bids for completeness and accuracy.

Provide input on contractor selection and value engineering opportunities.

Support presentations and reporting during the proposal and design phases.

Mentor junior estimators and share best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of estimating experience , infrastructure-focused role .

Strong experience with utility line work and / or wastewater / sewage treatment plant projects .

Proficiency in estimating tools and software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, or similar platforms).

Excellent knowledge of construction methods, cost structures, and market trends.

Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Strong communication and client-facing skills.
