Job Purpose
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical linchpin of our Go-to-Market team - proving value fast in evaluations, de-risking technical decisions, and converting pilots into scalable, recurring revenue. You’ll architect intelligent, real-world aware solutions that unlock the full potential of PredictHQ, while delivering a consistent, high-quality sales experience and a seamless activation that bridges the pre-sales promise with post-sales reality.
You’ll support both acquisition and expansion, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to :
- Qualify opportunities, define use cases, and shape tailored Customer Solution Architectures
- Be the technical lead for customer evaluations and pilots, proving value through measurable outcomes
- Own onboarding delivery to ensure seamless implementation and use case activation
- Influence product evolution by feeding learnings back into our roadmap
Primary Responsibilities 🔑
Evaluation & Solution Design (Pre-Sales) ⚙️
Partner with AEs to understand customer goals, technical maturity, and use casesCreate and lead technical evaluations (POCs or paid pilots), aligned to defined success criteriaIdentify the use case and determine our product fitArchitect scalable, repeatable solutions built with our productsOwn and maintain the Customer Solution Architecture - your blueprint for customer success from discovery to onboardingOnboarding & Activation (Post-Sales) 🚦
Lead onboarding technical kickoff : confirm solution design, timelines, and responsibilitiesSupport product integration, validate end-to-end implementation, and confirm use case activationFinalize the Customer Solution Architecture with implementation notes and hand off to Account ManagersExpansion & Enablement 📈
Act as a bridge between pre-sales promise and post-sales delivery, ensuring a frictionless experienceSupporting AEs to proactively identify expansion opportunities and embed PredictHQ deeper into customer workflowsProduct & Strategy Alignment 🤝
Act as the voice of the customer to influence roadmap prioritiesFeed onboarding learnings into GTM processesChampion simplification and use-case clarity across all technical touchpointsSkills, Knowledge, and Competencies 🧠
3-5 years of industry experience with 1-2 years of experience as a Sales or Solutions engineer.API & data fluency : Comfortable with API-centric / data-pipeline architectures; able to quantify forecasting impact and business value.Broad experience using APIs, building dataframes, and comfort with managing large-scale database integrations (BigQuery, Azure, Snowflake, etc.).
Experience in Python (and / or other programming languages) to build, execute, and adjust scripts.Experience in demand forecasting, time-series modelling or applied analyticsProven success guiding enterprise customers through presales, onboarding and scalePartner tightly with Sales, Product, Engineering and Data Science to foster cross-functional collaborationOutstanding communication skills - be able to present to C-suite and technical stakeholders alike with clear storytellingBuilder mindset - create templates, reference code, and instruments so that great work scales.Ability to travel and be on site with customers as required (20-30% of your time).General 👇
