Must-Have :

Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Description :

Seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift role.

The unit focuses on the care of critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Candidates should have experience in managing multi-system organ failure and chronic / acute renal failure.

Skills required include obtaining 12 lead EKGs, ECMO, and managing arterial lines.

The role also involves administration of blood products and care for ventilated patients.

Experience with procedural sedation and critical care protocols is essential.

Strong knowledge of infection prevention and isolation protocols is required.

Candidates should be proficient in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

This role requires teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various critical diagnoses.

Skills preferred include experience in surgical intensive care and key procedural skills.

The ICU RN will float as needed and cover every third weekend.

All candidates must comply with healthcare facility policies and procedures.

A minimum of two supervisor references will be required during the selection process.
