Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

• 22 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Alaska license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

On call requirements: Typically around 7-8 call days/month with 1 day/week and 1 weekend (Friday at 1800-Monday at 0730).

Unit Information: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)

Interventional Radiology: Lines, Drains, Embolizations, Lower/upper extremities, Fistulas, Visceral Angio/intervention, Stroke Thrombectomy.

Neurointervention

Scrub Color: Provided

Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler.

Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility.

BLS, ACLS, Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
