We’re a

retail manufacturing and flexible packaging company

in Richardson, TX looking for a strong, hands-on leader to supervise

15–20 production employees

(including press, laminator, and slitter operators). This role is critical in driving consistency, accountability, and process improvements in a facility with long-tenured team members who need a leader that can earn respect, set expectations, and hold the line.

What You’ll Do

Lead production operations

: Manage daily schedules, optimize run speeds, reduce downtime, and ensure KPIs are met.

Own ink & coating operations

: Formulate, blend, troubleshoot, and oversee color management using Pantone standards.

Supervise & mentor

: Provide direction, accountability, and cross-training to a diverse production team.

Streamline processes

: Drive consistency in inventory management, ERP workflows (PrintViz, Business Central), and production reporting.

Oversee shipping & receiving

: Ensure materials and supplies flow efficiently through the plant.

Support plant leadership

: Serve as the backup to the Plant Manager and a key driver of operational excellence.

Champion safety & compliance

: Uphold OSHA, ISO, and SQF standards to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

What You Bring

5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience

, including flexographic printing.

3–5 years of direct ink & coatings experience

—solvent-based inks strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and color management.

Skilled in inventory control and ERP systems (PrintViz, Business Central, Microsoft Office).

Ability to lead long-tenured employees through change with confidence and respect.

Excellent communication and leadership skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

High school diploma, associate's degree or equivalent required; degree in Management preferred.

Combination of experience and education is also preferred.

Schedule :

Monday–Friday, 7AM – 4 PM

Reports to : Plant Manager
