Summary : The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining the plant production machinery, service equipment and physical building systems. Including but not limited to electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.

Schedule : 1st shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times.

Salary Range : $24.00 To 27.00 Hourly

Compensation commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

• Assist plant management in maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance program
• Safely troubleshoot mechanical / electrical problems
• Maintain hardware and software by responding to emergency service requests including diagnosing problems, ordering parts as needed, completing repairs or recommending solutions
• Participate in installation and removal of equipment
• Conduct routine checks and service equipment as required
• Provide production with clear proactive information on service issues
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Attend all department / company meetings as needed
• Other duties as assigned
