As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and embody Allied Universals values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a secure environment.

What Youll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support hospital staff and visitors as needed.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related issues, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with crowd control and / or visitor management during peak periods or emergency situations as required.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Applicants must have at least five years of security-related experience.

Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
