Manufacturing Engineer
Are you hands-on with automated manufacturing equipment and enjoy solving complex system challenges?
Oiles America is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is open to both experienced maintenance technicians and engineers with hands-on automation experience.
In this role, you'll support production by keeping automated systems running smoothly, solving electrical and mechanical issues, and driving equipment and process improvements alongside maintenance and engineering teams.
What You'll Do :
Provide daily technical support for automated equipment and manufacturing systems.
Identify and reduce production bottlenecks and waste.
Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and control systems to resolve downtime issues quickly and effectively.
Partner with maintenance and production to improve equipment reliability and safety.
Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement countermeasures.
Recommend and implement automation and process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.
Support new product introductions, including PFMEAs, APQP documentation, and BOM setup.
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (relative experience may be considered in lieu of education).
Hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment .
Strong background in PLC troubleshooting , electrical controls , and mechanical systems .
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
