Responsibilities

As the Medical Pod Leader , you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will encompass :

  • Accurate diagnosis and documentation
  • Ensuring quality patient experience and safety
  • Fostering team dynamics and provider productivity
  • Building strong relationships with all clinical team members
  • Collaborating with advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and collaborate with assigned APPs and Physicians
  • Participate in ride-alongs with APPs quarterly
  • Lead high-risk huddles and document care plans
  • Conduct chart audits and provide resources for clinical team members
  • Review quality metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with patient care for complex cases as needed
  • Participate in clinical education and compliance efforts
  • Manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Regional Medical Director

  • Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Active Medical License
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 1 year of experience at HarmonyCares Medical Group
  • Board Certification
  • Pay Transparency
