Job Summary
The Electrician Apprentice is a key member of our team. This position has a critical role in the achievement of company goals including profitability and customer service. This position is for an individual that is focused on learning, growth, and becoming an Electrician capable of running his own truck in the future.
The Apprentice is responsible for assisting the Lead Techs and Installers in all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of the electrical systems in residential buildings. Electricians will respond to service calls, perform planned maintenance, inspections, as well as new installations.
It is imperative that the Electrician Apprentice at all times display a professional image, and positive attitude towards all customers.
Accountability
- This is a full time position with some on call nights and weekends
- Due to the nature of our jobs / workload, it is very difficult to predict the exact end time each day. Overtime will be required as needed and will vary from day to day. Flexibility is key.
- The person in this position, as in all positions in our company, is expected to show respect for people at all times; customers, vendors, fellow employees and others. This needs to be reflected in all contact while representing our company
- It is expected that the person in this position will work productively and efficiently and will perform work to our company standards and the NEC
- This person reports directly to the Service Manager
