SCAN in Naples, FL is searching for a Veterinary Technician experienced in Neurology and Surgery , with a passion for specialty medicine. Are you ready to collaborate with a team that values you? Compensation :   $20-$30 / hr based on skill level and experience!

Schedule : 4 days per week, 9am – 7pm. Participation in an after-hours surgical on-call schedule with 1.5x pay and bonuses available!

At Specialists in Companion Animal Neurology , we are a boutique style veterinary neurology-neurosurgery practice with a mission to deliver expert and life-saving care to pets. Our team of board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons counsel pet parents and veterinarians to aid them in making informed decisions about the best and most compassionate neurological care. SCAN and the team use gold standard diagnostics including high field MRI, digital radiography, electrodiagnostic (EMG), and CSF analysis among others to diagnose and treat diseases of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves.

You are a skilled Veterinary Technician who is competent, confident, and excited at the opportunity to add to your ever-growing knowledge base. You are proficient in anesthesia, venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection. You can work autonomously while providing patients with meticulous and outstanding patient care during hospitalization. You have an open mind, positive outlook, and work with an elevated level of professionalism. You thrive in an independent environment as well as a team setting. You are successful in navigating complex and sensitive situations in times of high stress.
