We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Vacaville, California. In this role, you will handle full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring accuracy while adhering to compliance standards. Responsibilities :

• Process weekly payroll for a high volume of employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations using ADP Workforce Now.
• Handle job cost allocations for payroll within a construction setting.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping systems to streamline payroll processes.
• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure payroll tax filings and reporting are completed on time.
• Support audits by preparing and providing necessary payroll documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements within payroll operations to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with management to address payroll-related inquiries and concerns.
• Proven experience with full-cycle payroll, including multi-state operations.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and electronic timekeeping systems.
• Strong background in construction payroll and job costing methodologies.
• Ability to process payroll for over 500 employees accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounts payable processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
