Valuations Analyst

House Buyers of America is looking for a 100% remote Valuations Analyst (VA) who will be responsible for valuing prospective deals and determining a scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA must be able to determine a reliable estimate of market value for prospective deals to be used by House Buyers of America in determining whether to acquire a residential property. In addition to acquisitions, the VA must also be able to determine a reliable pricing strategy to sell properties that have been acquired by House Buyers.

What you will be doing:

1. You will be responsible for determining the pricing strategy to maximize ROI for all of the properties that we acquire and determining the turnaround times for dispositions
2. You will partner with the Sales and Construction Departments regarding pricing decisions, budget and the scope of work for the overall construction strategy
3. You will be responsible for valuing properties across the entire US and ensuring the accuracy of all valuations
4. You will be responsible for meeting the turnaround objectives for all valuations and ensuring that properties do not sit too long on the market
5. You will handle multiple priorities and deadlines
6. You will do anything else necessary to help the company meet its goals

About You:

1. You have 3 years minimum experience required in residential property valuations/underwriting
2. You have an appraisal license or you have completed all appraisal coursework (preferred)
3. You have a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
4. You have amazing computer skills and pick up new technology quickly!

Total Compensation Range: $70,000-$95,000 per year
