Manager, Operations Project Management
The Manager, Operations Project Management plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and transformation within the operations organization. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex strategic operational projects that improve business processes, enhance efficiency, and support operations strategic goals. Reporting into the Director, Operations Project Management this role will ensure we are executing against the operations strategy and communicating with all key cross-functional partners.
Project Leadership and Management :
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for complex operational initiatives (e.g., process redesigns, supply chain optimizations, or supplier transitions)
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Identify, track, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies proactively
- Oversee and coordinate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, direction, and motivation
Stakeholder Communication and Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication, providing regular updates to leadership and key stakeholdersManage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverablesFacilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts among project participantsOperational Excellence and Process Improvement :
Analyze current operational processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvementDrive the implementation of best practices, new technologies, and revised workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational costsDevelop metrics and KPIs to measure project success and the effectiveness of operational changes post-implementationDocumentation and Governance :
Understand when to use established project management methodologies and when to think outside of the box to get things doneMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, requirements, risk logs, and final reportsConduct thorough pre- and post-mortem analyses to act on and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement of project management processesWhat You Bring to the Table :
