Job Title : A&P Mechanic - Gulfstream Experience

This position offers an opportunity for experienced A&P Mechanics, particularly those with Gulfstream experience. It is a contract or contract-to-hire role with the potential for direct hire. The role involves performing routine maintenance and major inspections on aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on aircraft.
  • Remove and reinstall engines
  • Conduct operational checks and engine runs to ensure air-worthiness prior to departure.
  • Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals.
  • Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
  • Reinstall and test components after completed inspection.
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframe systems such as hydraulics and landing gear.
  • Document all work accomplished clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
  • Analyze mechanical problems to determine cause and best method of repair.
  • Test operation and adjust, as required, engines, engine controls, propellers, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and flight controls.
  • Repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.

Essential Skills

  • Previous Gulfstream aircraft maintenance experience
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA approved Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, and walk long distances.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders to access difficult areas within the aircraft.
  • Willingness to work outside in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Factory authorized training on assigned aircraft is preferred.
  • Previous experience with corporate aircraft such as Falcon, Citation, and Hawker.
  • Possession of own tools.

    Work Environment

    The role is based at a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Augusta. The environment requires working with various aircraft technologies and equipment, often under challenging weather conditions.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of AUGUSTA, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00 / hr.
